Abdul leads Intel Capital’s investment activities in UK, France, Ireland and Southern Europe from London.
Investment focus areas include all areas of deep technology such as AI, transportation, IoT, wireless and the data economy.
His recent investments include what3words, Proglove, Prophesee and Aledia. He also sits on the boards of MariaDB, Sigfox and Zafin Labs. Abdul’s exits include CSR, Wirtualna Polska, centrum.cz, Epichem, Sybenetix and IMS.
Before rejoining Intel Capital in 2015, Abdul served as Intel’s Assistant Treasurer from 2010 until 2015, leading the team executing fixed income investments, FX trading and cash management in EMEA. Abdul first joined Intel Capital in 1999. Before Intel, Abdul spent 7 years with PwC Corporate Finance, was a design engineer with Plessey Semiconductors and a robotics researcher with Ikerlán in Spain.
Abdul is a UK-qualified Chartered Accountant and holds an honours degree in Electronic Engineering.
